This position will be full-time, 40 hours per week. Overtime at month-end close is available and might be required. Flex scheduling is available. Accounting Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00AM until 6:00PM.
Experienced pay: $26+
Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Controller. They will be an integral member of the Mechanicsburg Accounting team. This position will be responsible for accurately entering vendor invoices and reconciling statements for 3 automotive dealer rooftops. The Account Payable Clerk will also generate timely payment of those invoices.
What You'll Do
· Process all accounts payable invoices accurately in accordance with company policies and ensure all expected invoices are received.
· Reconcile discount vendors' statements to vendor report, prepare 10th of month checks and ensure mailing by the 10th of the month. Verify that all discounts are maximized. Update list on a regular basis and review with the purchasing agent.
· Update Contract/consultant use spreadsheet
· Record credit card expenses
· Review and reconcile corporate credit cards monthly and ensure proper coding into CDK.
· Create and maintain AP vendor files (address, W-9, etc.)
· Ensure receipt of tax forms.
· Correspond with vendors/employees and respond to inquiries.
· Reconcile vendor statements weekly/monthly and ensure payment is remitted timely and accurately.

What You'll Need
· Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel/Office products. CDK experience is preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization
· Must be punctual, dependable, detail oriented & possess good organizational & filing skills.
· Previous Accounts Payable experience, preferred
· Ability to work in fast-paced and high-volume environment
