Berkot's Super Foods is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Joliet, IL. This in-person, full-time role involves reviewing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and entering data into the accounting system.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Accounts Payable, proficiency in Excel, and experience with QuickBooks or SAP. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential for timely processing and vendor interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with a high volume of transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for accuracy, matching purchase orders and receipts.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Data Entry: Enter invoices and payment details into the accounting system accurately.
• Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring up-to-date and accurate files.
• Expense Reporting: Assist in tracking and processing employee expense reports and reconciling corporate credit cards.
• Quarter-End Closing: Collaborate with the Accounting team on quarter-end processes and journal entries.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities
