Virtual Staff 365 is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to oversee non-stock and CAPEX payables for a major Australian retailer. You will ensure accurate, timely vendor payments, maintain internal controls, and support stakeholder relationships across the business.

The role requires at least 5 years in accounts payable, strong SAP proficiency, excellent Excel/Outlook skills, and a solid grasp of 3-way matching, taxation and journal entries. Remote work from US possible.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with SAP accounts payable software.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Solid understanding of non-stock and service invoices, CAPEX transactions, and employee expense claims.
• Proven ability to follow internal approval controls and Delegation of Authority requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high numerical accuracy.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle competing priorities.

Aufgaben

• Process non-stock, service, and CAPEX invoices in line with accounts payable procedures.
• Perform accounts payable activities including invoice coding, validation, posting, and payment preparation.
• Process staff expenses and reimbursements in a timely manner.
• Process shipping invoices and upload payment journals.
• Manage stock invoices with 3-way matching and variance investigation.
• Prepare and execute regular payment runs and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Set up new vendor profiles in SAP and verify vendor details using EFTSure.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve missing approvals, coding issues, and invoice exceptions.
• Support the team and complete general administrative tasks.
