First Quality is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist - Automation for its Anderson, SC plant. The role focuses on processing invoices, expanding automated vendor invoice processing, resolving exceptions, and supporting month-end close and 1099 reporting.

Strong SAP skills and AP automation experience are highly valued. The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years in full-cycle AP, excellent Excel capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Knowledge of AP best practices, 3-way match, vendor statement reconciliation.
• Hands-on SAP experience and AP automation exposure.
• Experience expanding automation coverage.
• Associate’s/bachelor’s in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
• Strong Excel skills (lookups and pivots).
• Attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and support automation initiatives.
• Perform 3-way matching and resolve variances.
• Manage payment runs (ACH, checks, wires) and terms adherence.
• Reconcile vendor statements to AP subledger and aging.
• Monitor bot-driven processing and assist IT for issues.
• Support month-end close and 1099 reporting.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and audit documentation.
