Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Woodbridge Township, NJ seeks an AP Accounting Assistant (Temporary) to support the North America Shared Services team. You will manage many AP inquiries, research invoices in SAP, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The role requires an associate degree in accounting/finance and at least 2 years in AP or related fields, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage a high volume of AP inquiries from vendors and internal teams with timely, accurate resolutions.
Research outstanding invoices in SAP to determine payment status and reasons for delays.
Review vendor aging reports to ensure invoices are accounted for and properly recorded.
Post invoices in SAP, correct and reverse entries as needed, reprocess where required.
Identify root causes of recurring AP issues and suggest process improvements.
Escalate complex issues to management with documentation and analysis.
Collaborate across departments to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues.
Reconcile AP aging and assist in sub-ledger reconciliation.
Maintain vendor statements and accounts; support vendor compliance and relationships.
Guide operations on AP inquiries and processes; assist with special projects.
