Job summary

Lennar is seeking an Assistant, LOC Accounts Payable to join our team in Irving, TX. You will review and verify invoices, process payments, and reconcile statements, maintaining accurate AP records and supporting internal controls.

The role requires strong Excel/Word skills and JD Edwards experience, with an emphasis on timely, accurate processing and collaboration with division leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
• Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
• Be a team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices and check requests for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Process invoices in various systems including ServiceNow, Metaviewer, JDE E1.
• Process invoices in accordance with payment terms and company policy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain a positive relationship with suppliers.
• Respond to division inquiries and maintain a positive relationship with the divisions.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all AP transactions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and review for accuracy.
