Job summary

Core6 Talent is partnering with a large, PE-backed global organization in The Woodlands to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst. The role handles high-volume processing, with opportunities to grow into an AP Lead as the team expands.

You will work on automation initiatives, assist with integrations for acquired entities, and collaborate across Procurement, Logistics, and Accounting. The position offers up to $95,000 base with a 10% bonus, a 6% 401(k) match, and Fridays remote in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience researching and resolving AP discrepancies.
• Familiarity with ERP and automated AP processing platforms.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred; Bachelor's a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and review high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy.
• Research and resolve complex invoice, payment, and coding discrepancies.
• Perform PO matching and handle non-standard AP transactions.
• Verify coding, approvals, tax treatment, and supporting docs.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations and Accounting.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and automation.
• Assist with integrating acquired businesses into AP processes.
