Woodard Cleaning and Restoration, Inc. is seeking an Accountant focused on accounts payable and accurate financial reporting. In this role you will reconcile AP, investigate discrepancies, process transactions, and support monthly and yearly close activities.

You will collaborate across departments, maintain controls, and seek process improvements to enhance financial operations while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; AP/AR or general accounting preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile accounts payable and related records.
• Research, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and review AP transactions with accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to keep records accurate.
• Assist with 1099 reporting requirements.
• Support audits and strengthen accounting controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
