Job summary

Safran DSI in Norcross, GA, seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, PO-based and non-PO, while supporting internal controls and SOX compliance in a dynamic finance environment.

The successful candidate will maintain strong vendor relations, resolve discrepancies, and participate in month-end close and AP reporting, contributing to continuous improvement of AP workflows.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-starter, able to learn quickly and absorb information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process PO-based vendor invoices and ensure proper 3-way matching.
• Review, validate, and process non-PO vendor invoices per policy.
• Investigate and resolve PO, pricing, and receiving variances with procurement/ops.
• Ensure accuracy of invoice coding, approvals, and supporting docs.
• Monitor invoice aging and prepare scheduled payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or past-due items.
• Maintain AP records and support audit and SOX compliance requirements.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and AP reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AP workflow efficiency.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to AP transactions.
