Job summary

NCQA in Washington, DC is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Accounts Payable to coordinate the AP function, review invoices, code, approve, input, and pay items according to terms. You will also prepare reports including annual 1099 and 1096 forms.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a business-related field and 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of AP software such as NetSuite, Unanet, or PN3.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years accounting experience.
• Computer literate in Excel; strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting and spreadsheet software.
• Preferred knowledge: Oracle NetSuite systems, Unanet, PN3.

Responsibilities

• Review payable vouchers approved by Program Managers and prepare payments (checks, ACHs, wires).
• Maintain AP data in NetSuite, Unanet, PN3; coordinate AP month-end closing; audit data for accuracy.
• Coordinate accounting for American Express and Truist credit cards; ensure timely payments.
• Prepare annual reporting for 1099 and 1096 forms and audit data for accuracy.
• Support other accounting functions, including forecasting, budgeting, and system implementations.
