Accounts Payable Analyst
Supports daily accounts payable functions, ensuring all company expenses are accurately processed, recorded, and paid in a timely manner.
Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr – $65,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Review and verify accuracy of incoming vendor invoices and enter them into the accounting system.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or credit card, ensuring all payments are timely and accurate.
- Prepare and post journal entries to appropriate general ledger, ensuring that all accounts are properly maintained and balanced.
- Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends on a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and geographic considerations.
