Job summary

CORE Property Capital in Naples, Florida seeks an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join the accounting team. You will manage tenant receipts across multiple accounts, code invoices in Yardi, and prepare billing reports.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years AP/AR experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. Real estate experience and Yardi Voyager are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years AP/AR experience in a professional setting.
• Commercial real estate or property management experience preferred.
• Yardi Voyager experience strongly preferred; Excel proficiency required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and post tenant receipts across multiple bank accounts.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies with property managers.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and post charges in Yardi.
• Handle accounts payable workflows, code expenses, and vendor payments.
• Record wire transfers and monitor utility payments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and 1099 reporting.
• Coordinate with managers and accounting team to resolve discrepancies.

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the CORE Property Capital accounting team in Naples, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Process and post daily tenant receipts across approximately 65 bank accounts.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies in coordination with Property Managers.
• Prepare monthly billing reports, obtain approvals, and post charges in Yardi.
• Maintain accurate tenant payment and billing records.

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

• Process invoices through Yardi Workflow and accurately code expenses.
• Prepare accounts payable reports for CFO review across multiple properties and business entities.
• Prepare manual checks and coordinate payment files with third-party vendors.
• Record wire transfers and online payments in Yardi.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 forms, and new vendor setups.
• Oversee utility auto-pay accounts and investigate missing invoices.

Expense Allocations & Reconciliations

• Upload and reconcile corporate credit card statements and supporting documentation.
• Process intercompany bill-backs, payroll allocations, parking expenses, and office rent allocations.
• Ensure expenses are accurately recorded and assigned to the appropriate properties and entities.
• Maintain complete and organized accounting documentation.

Reporting & Accounting Support

• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Coordinate annual 1099 reporting with third-party preparers.
• Support accounting records management and financial reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Property Managers, vendors, and the accounting team to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with special projects and accounting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Commercial real estate or property management accounting experience preferred.
• Yardi Voyager experience strongly preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following accounting procedures.
