Overview:

Growing Distribution service company is in need of an Accounts Payable Accountant. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or distribution environments, with a solid understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and full-cycle accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable: coding, matching POs to invoices, batching, and processing check runs
• Perform A/P account reconciliations
• Conduct batch check runs and maintain A/P schedules
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
• Research intercompany billing discrepancies
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle A/P experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong understanding of Cost of Goods Sold
• Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and general ledger accounting software
