Role Description: Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior accountants to support day-to-day bookkeeping, tax prep, and financial reporting for a variety of clients in industries like e-commerce, professional services, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily/weekly bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Help prepare tax workpapers and assist in tax return data gathering
• Support client onboarding and system setup
• Communicate with clients via email to gather missing information
• Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Some understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy, fast learner
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Internships or relevant experience welcomed for intern-level roles
