Job summary

NOBEL Women in Tampa, FL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire, on-site role. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in high-volume AP across multiple locations, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Sage and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling payments, coding expenses, and ensuring accurate ledgers while handling confidential information. Pay is $24 per hour with potential for permanent hire based on performance.

• Reconcile AP transactions, system reports, vendor statements, and account balances.

• Monitor payment terms, schedule payments, and prepare checks.
• Research and resolve PO, invoice, and vendor discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports and related adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
• Support sales tax reporting and related accounting tasks.

Accounts Payable Specialist - Temp-to-Hire | 100% Onsite | Tampa, FL

Location: Tampa, FL 33612

Our long tenured client is growing their Accounts Payable department and the perfect time to join.

This is a high-volume Accounts Payable role supporting 18 locations. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for a qualified professional that is organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment paying $24 per hour.

Preferred Skills:

• Sage experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Multi-location, high-volume AP experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices and vendor payments.
• Reconcile AP transactions, system reports, vendor statements, and account balances.
• Code expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers and post transactions to accounting ledgers.
• Monitor payment terms and discounts, verify vendor information, schedule payments, and prepare checks.
• Research and resolve purchase order, invoice, payment, and vendor discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports, advances, credits, stop payments, and related adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation while protecting confidential information.
• Support sales tax reporting and other accounting-related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred; 2-3 years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and reconciliation skills.
• Comfortable managing high transaction volumes across multiple locations.

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
