Job summary

Norfolk Iron is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Norfolk, Nebraska accounting team. The role handles invoice processing, vendor setup, and month-end close activities, supporting accurate cash flow and reporting.

You will work Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM, with benefits including a quarterly BONUS program, 2 weeks PTO in year one, free employee healthcare premium, 401k with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping, AP, or accounting experience (preferred).
• High School or better in General Education or related field.
• Pass Drug Test & Background Check
• Motivated & Energetic!

Responsibilities

• Process, match, and code vendor invoices.
• Process, print, and send accounts payable checks.
• Set up new vendors in our payment processing system.
• Perform month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.
• Research and resolve any vendor payment inquiries.
• Perform other duties to assist Corporate Finance team members.
