Job summary

Lester Building Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Minnesota to handle daily invoicing, vendor setup, and expense processing as part of the Accounting Team. You will ensure accurate recording of payables and assist with month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month- and year-end closing activities.
• Completion and distribution of lien waivers.
• Miscellaneous administrative functions as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for handling various administrative tasks related to accounts payable and financial operations. As part of the Lester Building Systems’ Accounting Team, this role ensures that daily accounting processes are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Processing invoices, expenses, payment requests and credit card transactions
• Set up vendors and maintain vendor records
• Research and respond to accounts payable inquiries
• Review sales and use tax on invoices
• Processing of 1099 forms
• Assist with month and year end closing activities
• Completion and distribution of lien wavers
• Miscellaneous administrative functions as needed

Salary Range

Hourly salary of $22.00 to $25.00.

The specific compensation offered to a candidate varies by several factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications and internal pay equity. This position is eligible for Company profit sharing potential.
