Job summary

Lester Building Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Minnesota to handle daily invoicing, vendor setup, and expense processing as part of the Accounting Team. You will ensure accurate recording of payables and assist with month-end close.

The role requires a high school diploma, Excel/Word proficiency, and strong attention to detail. We offer full benefits, profit sharing, and a small, family-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accounting or related coursework a plus.
• Prior accounting or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills are required.
• Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Strong communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, expenses, payment requests and credit card transactions.
• Set up vendors and maintain vendor records.
• Research and respond to accounts payable inquiries.
• Review sales and use tax on invoices.
• Process 1099 forms.
• Assist with month- and year-end closing activities.
• Completion and distribution of lien waivers.
• Miscellaneous administrative functions as needed.
