Job summary

Halladay Auto Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage monthly vendor payments across multiple dealership departments, reconcile statements, and ensure accurate data in the system. This role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration within a fast-paced automotive environment.

The ideal candidate has AP experience (minimum one year), familiarity with dealership management systems, excellent communication, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Must have Accounts Payable experience (minimum of one year).
• Preference will be given to those with experience using dealership management system (DMS).
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team.
• Accounting degree (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Post and pay over 300 vendors monthly from 9 different dealership departments.
• Reconciling statements.
• Disburse checks.
• Balance statements and finalize data.
• Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in system.
• Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks.

• Responsible for posting and paying over 300 vendors monthly, from 9 different dealership departments


• Reconcile statements


• Disburse checks


• Balance statements and finalize data


• Prepare accounts for payments andverify data in system


• Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
