Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a full-time accounting support specialist to handle payroll reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and related administrative tasks within the Accounting Department.

Under the Controller, you will process invoices, maintain customer/vendor records, prepare AR aging and assist with period close, ensuring accurate reporting with integrity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills, detail orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.
• Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions. Takes initiative and is self-directed.
• High level of integrity to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.
• Can work independently without a great need of supervision.
• Can manage multiple projects at one time.
• Good communication skills.
• SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Payroll reporting.
• Process daily invoicing and cash receipts; AR aging reporting.
• Assist in entering and processing vendor invoices and other AP transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable close and period close reconciliation.
• Administer supply closet and main phone coverage.
• Update daily/weekly reports and assist with accounting projects.
