Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant to support payroll reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks within the accounting department.

Under the Controller, you will process daily invoicing and cash receipts, maintain vendor invoices, assist with period-close activities, and help prepare weekly AR aging and customer stats. Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 4 years of related accounting or finance experience.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable and basic bookkeeping.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Process daily invoicing and cash receipts.
• Research debit/credit memo requests and maintain customer accounts.
• Assist in entering vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions.
• Support period-close activities and preparation of AR aging reports.
• Maintain supply closet and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
