Are you someone looking for an accounting position that offers great opportunities and even better benefits? If so, this is the job for you! The Office of Administration, Division of Accounting (OA-DOA), seeks a qualified professional for the Financial Unit within OA-DOA.

This is a temporary, full-time, benefit-eligible position based upon the MOVERS project. The position will end upon implementation of the MOVERS project.

Responsibilities include:

1. Analyze and process supplier input forms and registrations.
2. Analyze supplier input and other forms to ensure IRS and State standards are met.
3. Assist state agencies and suppliers with inquiries regarding supplier entries or forms related to SAMII Financial, MissouriBUYS, and MOVERS.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of the SAM II system is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively within the unit and with state agencies and suppliers via phone, email, or fax.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Minimum education and experience requirements include:

• One or more years of business or governmental financial recordkeeping experience, including mathematical computations, and a high school diploma or equivalency. Alternatively, 30 college credit hours including three in accounting may substitute for experience.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be the sole basis for denying consideration.

Successful background checks are required, which may include name and fingerprint screenings.
