Hiring: Chartered Accountant

Our current transactions range from multifamily apartment complexes to large office towers in the US and European markets, with values from $10 million USD to over $200 million USD.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management
2. Initiate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
3. Facilitate vendor onboarding and credentialing to verify insurance coverage and compliance with GSD standards.

1. Accounting & Financial Management
2. Process vendor invoices and payments, handle communications via calls and emails.
3. Involved in GL posting and R2R accounting.
4. Enter POS and invoices into the system as requested.
5. Complete journal entries for daily bank receipts.
6. Raise invoices to customers and apply receipts via JEs in Yardi.
7. Resolve issues during Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and GL processes.
8. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly property financial statements.
9. Assist with special projects as needed.
10. Provide reports and research on accounting issues.
11. Respond to queries from residents, clients, and property managers regarding statements or ledgers.
12. Mark invoices for payment and coordinate with GSD for payments via cheque or ACH.
13. Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy.
14. Conduct revenue audits to manage income streams effectively.
15. Monitor spending to align with the annual budget.
16. Use QuickBooks online for bookkeeping services.

Utility Bill Monitoring

Oversee utility management on RealPage, ensuring timely payments and interactions to maintain current and future utility payments.

Requirements:

• CMA, CPA, CA, USCPA highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of advanced accounting principles and general ledgers.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with US clients.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

You must have:

• Comfort working in Pacific/PST time zones.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written).
