Clark Wood are working with a well-established and growing independent firm of accountants in Hatfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.

The role involves managing a varied portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns, and providing advisory support as the practice grows. You will work closely with the senior team, develop junior staff, and have a clear path to progression to Client Manager.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• Confident dealing with clients and strong technical skills.

Clark Wood are working with a well-established and growing independent firm of accountants in Hatfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.

Working closely with the senior team, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and play an important role in the delivery of accounts and tax work.

You’ll be involved in:

• Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and dealing with day-to-day queries.
• Building strong relationships with clients.
• Reviewing work and supporting junior members of the team.
• Assisting with more complex assignments and advisory work.
• Supporting the continued growth and development of the practice.

You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with good experience gained within an accountancy practice.

You’ll be confident dealing with clients, have good technical skills and be keen to take the next step in your career.
