Clark Wood is recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior to join its Ludlow team. ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified candidates with at least three years’ practice experience will manage a varied client portfolio and support the development of junior team members.

The role offers a supportive, progressive environment with study support, 21 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension and free nearby parking. Hybrid working may be available after the first three months.

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise directly with clients, resolving queries and providing a high standard of service.
• Prepare draft tax computations, tax return schedules and VAT returns.
• Review junior team members’ work and provide guidance and support.
• Manage assignments effectively, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.

Clark Wood is working with a growing accountancy practice to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team in Ludlow

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified professional with at least three years’ practice experience to take on a varied client portfolio, build strong client relationships and support the development of junior team members.

• Prepare draft tax computations, tax return schedules and VAT returns.

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• At least three years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
