Job summary

A well-established recruitment firm in Virginia is seeking an experienced practice specialist to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of recent accountancy practice experience and will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts and tax returns, assisting clients with bookkeeping, and liaising with HMRC. My client is a very well-established firm offering a broad range of services to a loyal portfolio of clients. They are now looking to employ an experienced practice specialist to join a very friendly group of professionals.

Responsibilities

• You will prepare year end accounts and tax returns, along with assisting your clients with monthly bookkeeping and management accounts, VAT preparation, and liaising with HMRC.

Qualifications

• My client is happy to consider applications ranging from AAT through to fully qualified ACA or ACCA, though consideration will also be given to candidates who have chosen not to undertake formal qualifications. A minimum of 3 years\' recent accountancy practice experience is an essential prerequisite given the technical nature of the position.
