Qualifications

  • Handle bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliation.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor/customer accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, assist budgeting, and support financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain journals, ledgers, and general accounting records.
  • Process AP/AR, vendor invoices, and payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash activity.
  • Track expenses and ensure proper coding and approvals.
  • Assist month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal/external auditors and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support budgeting/forecasting and drive process improvements in finance.

The production unit is located in an environmentally friendly area in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, with a state-of-the-art plant for injectables, tablets, capsules, and eye/ear drops. Role Description

The Accounts Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH. This position is responsible for assisting in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role supports month-end and year-end closing activities, preparation of financial statements and reports, and coordination with internal and external auditors. The Accounts Assistant Manager helps ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, while maintaining accurate documentation and records. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in general accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor/customer account management.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports, assist with budgeting, and support financial planning activities.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation principles, and compliance requirements applicable to pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with finance, production, and management teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
