Astute Recruitment near Ripley, Derbyshire, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations in a fully office-based role. You will handle sales ledger, credit control and purchase ledger activities while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working with financial information, with experience in accounts administration and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts or finance administration.
• Understanding of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control processes.
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Process sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
• Post and allocate customer payments and cash receipts.
• Assist with purchase ledger processing and supplier invoices.
