Qualifications

• Sage 50 experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organised, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong IT skills and confidence working with financial systems and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day accounts and finance queries.
• Follow up outstanding payments and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, ensuring billing information is accurate and timely.
• Monitor invoicing throughout the month and maintain invoice reports.
• Review supplier invoices for accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Manage purchase invoices through finance processes and ensure correct recording.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier records and resolve queries promptly.
• Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers and respond to queries.
• Assist with month-end activities and general finance administration.
• Identify discrepancies and outstanding issues, and resolve them efficiently.
