Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex posting and coding of transactions.
• Review accounts, ledgers, and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare bank deposits and/or checks.
• Make correcting and/or adjusting entries on ledger.
• Examine accounting records to assure adherence to accounting laws and regulations; verify calculations and ensure accuracy and validity of transactions.
• Maintain accounting records; gather data and prepare reconciliations and reports.
• Assist supervisor in preparing analytical materials by compiling data and summaries.
• May train and review the work of clerical staff.
