Qualifications

• Experience in recording and balancing routine financial data.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level accounting support duties including posting and adjusting to the general ledger.
• Process claims and invoices and review transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage inmate monies, prepare deposits and checks, and enter money orders.
• Balance accounts daily and provide weekly/monthly reports to units.
• Maintain spreadsheets to verify balances including court orders and restitution.
• Assist with purchasing and accounts payable when needed.
• Work one 12-hour shift per week in security.
