Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for an Accounting Technician in Denver, CO. The position supports general accounting, financial analysis and reporting for the business, including journal entries, reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.

You will assist budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while maintaining strong internal controls. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; the company offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package with health benefits,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or two years of related work experience.
• Preference for more than three years of related experience; associates degree or technical certification may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform general accounting and financial analysis, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and schedules in accordance with policies and ERISA/SEC where applicable.
• Provide budgeting/forecasting support and analyze variances.
• Maintain relationships with customers and assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, credit and collections.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
