Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee the recording and review of financial transactions and to assist in preparing comprehensive financial reports that accurately portray the company’s results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel; experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Sage Intacct experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable staff.
• Provide ongoing feedback and lead annual performance reviews.
• Review general ledger balance sheet schedules for accuracy.
• Analyze balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements for trends and variances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries for accruals and reclassifications.
• Gather reports for external auditors and support financial reporting.
• Suggest improvements to accounting and reporting procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
