Andersen Corporation is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee the fixed asset accounting function in Oak Park Heights, MN. You will ensure GAAP compliance, accurate depreciation calculations, and timely period-end closing while directing a team of accounting professionals.

You will lead process improvements, document policies, collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise, support internal and external audits, and deliver strategic capital expenditure analyses to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years related accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the accounting function for fixed assets.
• Oversee depreciation calculations, asset additions, disposals and transfers.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff with coaching and feedback.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and integrity of financial data.
• Support internal and external audits and prepare reports for management.
