Job summary

Confidential Jobs seeks an Asset Controller to manage the accounting, control, and reporting of the fixed asset portfolio. You will oversee procurement through depreciation and disposal and partner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate asset tracking.

Key duties include maintaining the fixed asset subledger, performing reconciliations to the general ledger, preparing schedules for audits and tax reporting, and supporting CIP, ERP implementations, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• ERP and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fixed asset subledger with capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals.
• Perform reconciliations between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Prepare fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting, audits, and tax reporting.
• Coordinate periodic physical asset inventories and CIP capitalization.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to support procurement, tagging, and system entry.
