Accounting Supervisor

Location: New York, NY

Contract Duration: 6+ Months Contract

INTAKE NOTES:

Fully Vaccinated. The Assistant Controller is responsible for Investment Oversight and Fund Accounting. This is a temporary role only. Remote/Hybrid in NYC. Required to pass a CREDIT CHECK.

Job Description:

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• The Assistant Controller will be responsible for Investment Oversight and Fund Accounting and Reporting.
• Investment Oversight consists of monitoring third-party property managers' books and records to ensure accurate reporting.
• Processes include but are not limited to monthly property uploads, property reviews, flux analysis, debt compliance, reviewing transaction activity (acquisitions, dispositions), and establishing relationships with property managers as well as our Client's Asset Managers.
• Fund Accounting & Reporting consists of preparation of fund financial statements and other required financial information, including but not limited to investor funded and unfunded commitments.
• Other responsibilities include ensuring support for NAV calculations, recording of fund-level accruals, recording of fair value (investment and debt), calculation of fund asset management fees, preparation of joint venture waterfalls, calculation of NCREIF and GIPS returns, and assisting with the annual audit. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager.
