Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Minimum five years of accounting experience, including at least one year in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability to partner with departments and lead an accounting function.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and lead the accounting team.

  • Oversee cash forecast and AR/AP processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and payments to ensure continuity of supply.

Job description

The Accounting Supervisor will supervise and manage all accounting functions, including the maintenance of accounting systems, and the analysis and reporting of financial, production, and business data for the Dental Crafters Network.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise, train, and lead the accounting team
  • Working supervisor will perform hands-on work alongside the team while owning the departments output, deadlines and improvements
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ensure accuracy of all accounting records
  • Prepares monthly financial statements and other operating/statistical reports
  • Reviews financial statements and operating reports with all parties of interest
  • Preparation/analysis of daily/weekly/monthly reports of key financial and operational metric trends and utilization
  • Leads the coordination with CPA firm of all tax compliance and reporting
  • Oversee preparation/analysis of continuous cash forecast
  • Oversee AR credit policies and collection activity to reduce past due balances
  • Oversee AP vendor payment policies while maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring continued supply
  • Operates within EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), which DCN runs on
  • Assess organizational performance against budgets with functional leaders and management team
  • Serves as administrator for all ERP systems
  • Lead ERP system conversions, migrations, and updates
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for enhancement of profitability
  • Performs and communicates variance analysis on financial performance to management
  • Strategic focus on cost containment and cost reductions as necessary to improve EBITDA performance and communication of strategies and executable action plans to management team
  • Preparation and communication to management of capital and operating budgets
  • Builds solid working relationships across the organization including with management, workforce, customers, suppliers, and other parties
  • Role model the Company’s values and purpose
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience, including at least one year in a managerial role within an accounting department, is essential.
  • Proven success in establishing an accounting department that functions as a "business partner" across the organization.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and QuickBooks is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in multi-division and multi-operational companies is preferred but not required.
