You will mentor staff, review client work, and coordinate with tax and audit teams while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering timely, compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising or mentoring accounting/bookkeeping staff.
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and managing relationships.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for one of our member CPA firms, FJ & Associates. They a full-service accounting firm of about 40 employees located in Kaysville, UT. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead a team of bookkeepers while remaining actively engaged in client work. This is a hands‑on leadership role — you'll oversee multiple client engagements, review and guide the work of your team, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients, all while still rolling up your sleeves for core accounting production work when needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both managing people and staying close to the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

• Review accounting work prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness
