Job summary

H MART seeks an accounting professional in Lyndhurst, NJ, to process invoices, manage expenses, and prepare financial statements. You will input data into SAP S/4HANA, reconcile accounts, and support monthly closings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, 1–3 years of experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. Korean language skills are a plus; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business-related field; equivalent experience considered
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or related field
• General understanding of accounting processes and principles
• Proficient in Excel and Word; strong communication skills
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP R/3 is a plus, Korean language ability preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and input data in SAP S/4HANA
• Prepare operational expenditure payment batches
• Verify expense reports for GAAP compliance
• Reconcile operational expense accounts and monitor variations
• Manage prepaid, accrued expenses, and depreciation schedules
• Track corporate fixed assets and depreciation
• Reconcile inventory and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Analyze financial statements and spending trends for cost reduction
• Assist with special projects as assigned
