Job summary

Go Maverick Group's client is a family-owned organization serving Northeast Ohio across landscape and facility services. The Accounting Specialist will manage AP/AR for multiple brands, support month-end close, and ensure financial integrity across ERP systems.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with external partners. Requires 3–5 years in accounting, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience with A/P, A/R and month-end close.
• Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; Aspire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities with timely processing.
• Review, code, verify, and approve invoices with proper documentation and controls.
• Record cash receipts and payments (ACH, checks) in the ERP system.
• Assist month-end close across locations with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support intercompany transactions, audits, and ERP initiatives.
