Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or related finance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and automated financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in financial documents.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple vendor accounts.
• Clear written and verbal communication with vendors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete before payment.
• Manage assigned vendor accounts and reconcile vendor statements monthly.
• Review invoices and requisitions to confirm proper approval before payment processing.
• Prepare journal entries with invoice details, amounts, and accounting codes per company policy.
• Calculate invoice totals, verify extensions, and apply discounts when applicable.
• Maintain organized files of vouchers, invoices, and supporting correspondence for audit purposes.
• Assist with month-end financial close and prepare supporting schedules for annual audits.
• Clarify questionable invoice items, pricing, or documentation with vendors and internal teams.
