Job summary

BPS Technology is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the accounting team at our Texas operations. The role focuses on accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and general ledger activities, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with automated accounting systems. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the BPS

Qualifications

At least 5 years’ experience in accounting functions.
Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Proven, solid MS Word and Excel skills
Intermediate exposure to automated accounting systems.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Manage bank reconciliations and payroll processing/posting journal entries.
Perform month-end closings and depreciation schedules.
Track fixed assets and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Develop and maintain reports on asset and liability balances and prepare tax filings as needed.
