Job summary

Mytech Partners, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage AP/AR, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in day-to-day transactional accounting. Based in San Antonio, you will coordinate with vendors and customers to keep payments timely and records up to date.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, and strong Excel skills. You will participate in month-end close, assist with reconciliations, and help improve processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• High school diploma or associate's degree required.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with vendors and customers.
• Proactive, accuracy-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with proper coding, approvals, and documentation.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire) and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate customer invoices and monitor AR aging.
• Support month-end close and maintain internal controls documentation.
• Identify process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects.
