Job summary

Standard Air is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable processing, account reconciliations, sales and use tax filings, and general accounting activities. This role plays an important part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the accounting function.

The position supports month-end close activities and daily banking tasks, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Previous accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, prepare payments and support AP automation.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns for required states.
• Perform daily banking activities and complete account reconciliations.
• Assist with customer account inquiries and post customer payments.
• Support other accounting duties as part of the department.
