Job summary

The Sebastian Vail seeks an organized accounts receivable professional to support billing, collections, and month-end close in a fast-paced hospitality setting in Vail, Colorado. You will work with internal teams and guests to ensure accurate records and timely payments.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration across departments to resolve discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, and account transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances to support collection efforts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of billing, receipts, adjustments, and communications.
• Respond to inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account status in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities, reporting, and account analysis.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within accounts receivable workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field prefered
