• Maintain vendor accounts and respond to billing and payment inquiries.
• Process customer payments and apply payments to accounts.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past‑due balances.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Assist with month‑end close and reporting as needed.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure transactions are accurately documented.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with hands‑on experience in both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys staying organized, working with multiple priorities, and taking ownership of day‑to‑day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is accurate, proactive, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and able to work independently while collaborating with operations and accounting leadership.

What You’ll Do

Manage day‑to‑day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

Review, code, enter, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.

Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.

Prepare and process vendor payments.

Maintain vendor accounts and respond to billing and payment inquiries.

Process customer payments and accurately apply payments to accounts.

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past‑due balances.

Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.

Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.

Assist with credit card and account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.

Assist with month‑end close and reporting as needed.

Work closely with accounting leadership and branch teams to ensure transactions are accurate and properly documented.

Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable is required.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Comfortable researching discrepancies and following through until issues are resolved.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Experience working in a fast‑paced, multi‑location organization is a plus.

$25.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience.
