We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing project setup, maintaining financial budgets, and preparing client invoices. This position requires a background in project accounting and billing, along with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to review contract documentation and set up projects and financial budgets.
Prepare complex client invoices (Cost Plus, Time & Materials, and Fixed Price) in accordance with contractual terms, including all required supporting documentation.
Assist the Regional Accounting Manager with month-end closing processes.
Maintain organized and accurate files and records to support audit compliance and future reference.
Handle additional finance-related tasks as needed to support the accounting team.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and billing practices.
High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on efficiency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams); Adobe knowledge is a plus.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Effective organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Analytical thinking and sound judgment with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.
