IMKO in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an Accounting & Purchasing Coordinator for a local manufacturing operation. You will manage purchasing, monthly sales tax returns, GL reconciliations, and assist AR and AP as needed in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and a willingness to learn new accounting systems. A related degree is preferred, with prior accounting experience beneficial.

Formación

• Prior accounting experience is preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Tax compliance: Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and state filings.
• Purchasing & procurement: source materials and services, process purchase orders, maintain records.
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Accounting support: assist AR with deposits and invoicing; reconcile discrepancies.
• Support collections on past-due accounts when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
