Job summary

The University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor or non-tenure track assistant professor of practice in accounting beginning in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses and contribute to the department through scholarly research and service.

Duties include teaching on our Vermillion campus, Sioux Falls campus, and online, with mentoring and involvement in student activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB-International accredited business school is required, ABDs with defense by start date will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting classes on Vermillion campus, Sioux Falls campus, and online.
• Engage in scholarly research and service for the Department, University, profession, and broader community.
• Provide outstanding teaching and mentoring to students outside the classroom.
