Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our finance team at REAL. The ideal candidate will manage the company's accounting systems and operations, oversee daily functions, ensure efficient financial systems integration, collaborate across departments, and maintain accurate and timely financial data.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s accounting software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
• Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other operational software.
• Manage upgrades, implementations, and troubleshooting of accounting software and related systems.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure systems meet organizational needs.
• Supervise and ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements for better financial reporting and accuracy.
• Establish and maintain internal controls for financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes for efficiency.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve workflow and reduce errors.
• Review and approve transactions in India & Canada.
• Oversee Concur Expense Management and Corporate Credit Card processes.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Implementation experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Experience in real estate, tech, fintech, or high-growth startups.
• 6+ years in accounting, financial operations, and systems.
• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
• CPA or similar qualification is a plus.
